Leon Somerall – Chairman

Founder of Eastern Systems Management, Inc. Before Eastern Systems Management, Leon was Chief of Computer Systems Branch of the National Weather Services and Systems for Command Control and Intelligent Systems for IBM. As such, he gained extensive multi-national experience. Leon actively used technology in manufacturing as VP Operations for a 1300 employees manufacturer of sleeve bearings for industrial equipment. He purchased Eastern Systems Management in 1976 offering payroll services and customer programming for manufacturers. In 1979 he extended Eastern Systems Management services by offering packaged manufacturing software that could be adapted to the needs of his clients. This solution oriented approach has made Eastern Systems a mainstay in manufacturing, distribution and accounting for thirty years. Leon has a broad experience and understanding of technology and it’s use in facilitating business workflow. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and has the unique ability to develop employee skills.

Leon holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Tulane University and certified as Microsoft Navision Partner and Product Specialist.
